School Field Trips

Since 1987 we have been hosting School Field Trips at the Nelson Farm.

We offer an exceptional learning environment where students and adults can interact with our farm animals. Each person is encouraged to have hands on experience by touching all the animals. We promote a lasting memory for your students. Kids can learn about life on the farm and farm animals such as Learn about pigs, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, geese,  baby chicks, and sheep.

Field trips can be scheduled in the Spring - Starting May 1 until school is out, or in the Fall through October.

The cost is $5.00 / student. All tours are guided.

• Kids can Swing in Hayloft
• Take a wagon ride
• Visit our Silo
• Learn about Farm Safety Just 4 kids
• Have your picnic on the grounds
• Hold baby chicks
• Pick pumpkins (fall only)
• Hold baby ducks & geese (spring)

Tours take place rain or shine
