4th Annual Scarecrow Display Contest
Register by Sept. 4 - no exceptions!
Ages: All ages will compete against each other. We promote a group effort, but individuals are also encouraged to register.
Category: Can be traditional, humorous, or any other friendly category. The goal should be to make people happy or amazed.
Limitations:No ghosts, goblins, witches, or any offensive scarecrows will be allowed. We reserve the right to disqualify any entry.
Materials: Durability to last outside in the weather for 5 weeks will be considered in judging. Materials need to be rain and wind resistant. We reserve the right to remove any scarecrow that doesn't hold up to weather elements.
Construction: Each scarecrow must have a vertical and horizontal 2" x 4" (at least) to be wired to a steel fencepost.
Size: Minimum of 4' and maximum of 8' and maximum of four figures in a group.
Entries to become property of the Nelson Farm with rights to be in photos or other advertising.
