Come enjoy the open air, browse our unique Souvenir & Gift Shoppe, take a stroll through the Corn Maze, view the fall colors, see farm animals, and of course, don't forget to pick out and decorate your own pumpkin!

September 24 & 25 Food Shelf Weekend
$1.00 off admission with a food shelf donation

October 1 & 2 Military Weekend

Free entrance to all active and inactive veterans. “www.operationwritehome.com” will be on the farm - through this program over 1 million cards have been donated to our service men and women

October 8 & 9 Pumkin Painting Contest
(Need to purchase your pumpkin)
Pumpkins painted at Nelson Farm Paint Shop (With prizes)
Judging at 3 p.m. each day.

October 15 & 16 Go Green Energy Weekend

Renewable Energy SD will have their representative and 44’ support information trailer on the farm concerning wind turbines. Solar, ethanol, and other green also represented.

October 15 & 16 Fiddlers

Skalklubb Fiddlers from Brainerd way

Oct. 20-21 - Thursday/Friday - MEA, open 11:00am - 5:00pm

Fri. & Sat. Oct. 21-22 & 28-29 Maze by Flashlight 7-9pm $6 admission (not included in daytime gate admission) Wagon Rides, Free Marshmellows to roast on the Bonfire, Mini Donuts and Drinks extra charge. Bring your own flashlight. Groups should call in advance for reservations.

Oct. 22 & 23 Scarecrow Making Contest

Daily Schedule

12:30pm-1pm Swinging in the 1901 Barn Hayloft (ages up to 8th grade only)
1:30pm Trebuchet (Pumpkin Chucker Flinger Thinger)
1:35pm Coin Scramble (In the Horse Course, of course!)
2pm Ag Olympics, Sign up by the windmill.
3pm-3:30pm Swinging in the 1901 Barn Hayloft (ages up to 8th grade only)
3:35pm Trebuchet (Pumpkin Chucker Flinger Thinger)
