Because of COVID-19 a trip to the Nelson Farm will look different this year. We ask you to spread out over the farm with "lots of room" and follow these suggestions.

Listed below are some of the ways we want to keep everyone safe. Thanks for the last 30 years.

  1. Visit the Nelson Farm only if you are feeling healthy and do not have symptoms of or a known exposure to COVID-19 within the last 14 days. Idea: take your temp before leaving home. It needs to be under 100.4 degrees.
  2. Bring your masks with. Due to the Nelson Farm being an outdoor event masks are not required but encouraged when you are closer than 6 feet to others not in your group or family. Masks are required inside buildings. If you can't wear a mask consider staying home to keep yourself and others safe.
  3. Bring your personal hand sanitizer. We will also have sanitizers around the farm and will be cleaning and sanitizing the farm.
  4. Wash your hands! A hand washing station is at the end of the big red barn.
  5. Social distance: maintain 6 feet distance between your group and the other groups.
  6. On few days in October we could be at farm capacity. Be ready for and alternative activity if we are full. Sorry - we want to be safe.
  7. We will be doing a symptom check and disclaimer at the entrance. Be ready to sign a health check form and a disclaimer form upon arrival for your group.
  8. Be patient, especially at check in the check out.
  9. Please note that by visiting the Nelson Farm you voluntarily assume all risks related to the exposure of COVID-19.
